Black and White Custom Prints Connecticut Photographics offers custom archival black and white silver gelatin prints in either RC (resin coated) or fiber-based media. We are committed to the craft of making prints by hand from negatives, one at a time, using only the highest quality papers. We specialize in complete exhibition projects. Black & White RC Prints
Our resin-coated prints are individually hand-processed. Routine burning, dodging, cropping and spotting are included. We offer glossy, pearl and satin finish papers.

Black & White Fiber Prints
Individually hand-processed fiber-based prints are the finest quality available for exhibition, high-end portraits, and archiving purposes. Routine burning, dodging, cropping and spotting are included. Available in these paper surfaces: cold tone (glossy air-dried or flat matte) and warm tone (glossy air-dried). Prints are processed to archival standards.

Print Mounting (optional)
Connecticut Photographics offers two types of mounting substrates, 3/16" black Gatorfoam® and 3/4" or 1 1/ 2 " standouts. Mounting is available in sizes up to 40"x60".

Gatorfoam® is a durable and lightweight board that consists of a core of black polystyrene foam bonded on both sides with wood fibers impregnated with resin.
Connecticut Photographics has chosen Gatorfoam® over standard foamcore to mount black and white prints because it is dent and bend-resistant, and it will resist absorbing moisture. Standout mounts offer a polished look without framing, and come with mounting holes on the rear, ready for hanging. Standout mounts are thick, rigid polystyrene foam with a finished, clean black edge.
They are available in two thicknesses: 3/4" and 11/2". Standouts are only available in the standard sizes below with a maximum size of 40"x60". Please allow four extra days for this special-order service. Prices are additional to the cost of printing.
